About The Position

This is a Registered Nurse position in the Endoscopy specialty. The shift is from 06:30 to 3:00 PM. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1 in the procedure suite and 4:1 in pre-op and discharge areas. This role requires working every third weekend, which includes call on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Weekday call is also required from Monday through Thursday. The traveler must be available for on-call duties. While floating to similar units or sister facilities is possible, it is highly unlikely. The facility is an Acute Care Hospital with 75 total staffed beds. Scrubs are provided in Navy Blue. Charting is done via Epic. Parking is free with a pass. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Must be within a 30-minute drive of the facility for call response.
• All RTO (Return to Office/Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
