About The Position
Odessa Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Emergency department. The role is full-time on the day shift, with hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. It includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus in exchange for an 18-month commitment, and relocation assistance is available. The nurse evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care. The role also assists physicians during examinations and procedures, performs patient tests, and administers medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice. The nurse supports patient independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
