Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nursing)
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department. The schedule varies, with shifts from 5 PM to 5 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. Required certifications include AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Experience with Cerner is also required. Northside Hospital has specific holiday expectations: employees must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve). Compliance is required by Wednesday prior to the Monday start date, including a badge photo.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
- Required AHA BLS.
- Required PALS.
- Required ACLS.
- Required NIHSS.
- Cerner Experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
