The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) at Texas Health HEB will deliver care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process. This includes assessing the patient, planning the care, intervening as appropriate, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. The role involves incorporating age-specific safety and infection control measures, initiating actions to meet patient and/or significant other's need for information, and maintaining continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
