About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides patient-focused care at Baptist Health Hamburg, a 344,000-square-foot medical center offering 24/7 emergency care for patients of all ages. The ED features specialty treatment rooms, an Extended Care Unit for short-stay observation, and access to 24-hour EMS transport, including ALS ambulance support. The team works in a modern, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• A bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and fewer than 10 years of experience must enroll in a bachelor's degree program within 12 months of hire and achieve the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; if not already certified, obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and successful completion of a dysrhythmia class as required by the department of assignment.
