About The Position

CVOR WINTER HOLIDAY NEEDS – RATE IS CONTINGENT ON HOLIDAY COVERAGE! PLEASE ENSURE ALL RTO IS FINALIZED AND MINIMAL! Please review holiday policy below – one holiday can be requested currently, but no holiday RTO is strongly preferred. Travelers will be expected to be available to work all holidays that are not included in contracted RTO.

UNIT DETAILS:
WEEKEND: Friday-Sunday
CALL: Yes/variable - Typically one week day/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
FLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
CLINICAL SCREEN: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day
COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Locals accepted - same rate
Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 10hrs for 10 week assignment)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Full compliance required to start on time

Nice To Haves

• Minimal or no requested RTO (Return to Office)
• No holiday RTO is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Work weekends (Friday-Sunday)
• Be available for call (typically one weekday/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks)
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Work holidays as per policy (expected to work one, two, or even three major holidays depending on assignment period)
• Be fully compliant to start on time
