About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join our team. This position involves evening shifts and requires flexibility to accommodate various scheduling needs, including in-house weekend rotations and call duties. The RN will be responsible for providing care in a Level I Trauma facility, with a focus on cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures. Charting will be done using the EPIC system.

Requirements

• 2+ years in cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience
• 1 year CVOR experience
• 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility
• BLS certification
• NIH certification
• General OR skills
• Cardiovascular skills
• Thoracic skills
• Vascular skills
• Transplant skills
• EPIC charting system proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Flexibility in shift scheduling (5x8 OR 2x8 and 2x12 shifts)
• Willingness to take on call duties (approximately 30-40 hours per 4-week schedule period, with evening shift requiring around 24 hours of call per 4-week schedule period).

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Level I Trauma facility.
• Perform duties related to cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures.
• Adhere to in-house weekend rotation requirements.
• Participate in weekday and weekend call duties.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system.
