About The Position
This is a 2-year contract position for a CVICU RN. The position requires experience in CVICU and involves working every other weekend. Block schedules are required, and the expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1 and 1:2. The facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital with Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center designations, featuring 629 total staffed beds. It is a teaching hospital. RNs can wear any color scrubs. Charting is done via Epic, and parking is free.
Requirements
- CVICU experience required
- Must be a 1st-time traveler for this contract.
- Must be able to work every other weekend.
- Must adhere to block schedules.
- Must be able to manage 1:1 & 1:2 patient ratios.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Short Term Acute Care facility.
