About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse Clinical Lead in the Med Surg department at Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, TX. The position is full-time and operates on a day shift schedule. The Clinical Lead will be responsible for directing the nursing and support staff to ensure peak shift performance, exercising independent judgment to optimize workflows and patient care, and managing operational aspects of the unit. This includes designing acuity-based assignments, maintaining productivity standards, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources. The role also involves contributing to unit culture through staff training, performance coaching, and input on hiring decisions.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
