About The Position

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric CCU experience and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, assign, and monitor nursing staff during shifts, utilizing independent judgment to ensure high-quality patient care.
Manage daily patient/physician dynamics, resolve clinical complaints, and maintain productivity standards while justifying any budget or staffing variances.
Facilitate the availability of all necessary equipment, materials, and supplies required for optimal unit functionality.
Oversee shift education and provide direct input on the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of unit personnel.
