About The Position

The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator supports the staff nurse role while assuming shift responsibilities for the care delivery team. The coordinator helps organize care by assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing and delegating work, and evaluating patient care. The role also facilitates shared decision-making and unit throughput, provides or coordinates in-service education, may assist with staff hiring and evaluation, and participates in department policies, process improvement, and peer review.
