About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in both the Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab and the Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab. This role involves providing care for patients requiring cardiac catheterization, whether diagnostic or interventional, as well as IR lab patients needing procedures such as drain and tube placement, kyphoplasty, and biopsies. The Cath/IR RNs work a schedule of 4 - 10-hour days per week, typically from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. On-call duties are expected, averaging 8-10 shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends per month, depending on the schedule. EPIC is the required EMR system, and scrubs are provided.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
  • Must have experience in the cath lab.
  • Cannot receive profiles with IR only experience.
  • Must have experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
  • Mandatory competency with phlebotomy.
  • Mandatory competency with placing IVs.
