Registered Nurse/Cath Lab
About The Position
OSU is seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab RN to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience and possess essential certifications and skills. This position offers normal business hours with call required. Schedule: Option of either 4x9 hr shifts for a total of 36hrs/wk or 5x8hr shifts for a total of 40 hrs/wk. Please specify in submittal which shift your traveler is preclosed on. Hours: 7am or 7:45am start, Monday - Friday with Call. Call Requirement: one night a week and every 4th weekend. Unit Details: Cath Lab - diagnostic, PCI - Level 2 lab. EP Lab - devices changeout, upgrades, ICD, Pacer. Vascular Angiogram. IR - simple procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab.
- ACLS certification (Required).
- BLS certification (Required).
- State License (Required).
- Experience with EPIC is Required.
- Pre/Post Op Experience.
Nice To Haves
- CCI RCIS certification (Preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and PCI procedures in a Level 2 lab.
- Perform device changeouts, upgrades, ICD, and Pacer procedures in the EP Lab.
- Conduct Vascular Angiogram procedures.
- Assist with simple IR procedures.
- Provide Pre/Op and Post-Op care for patients with diagnoses including AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, EP devices, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD.
- Operate special equipment such as Impella, IABP, temp pacer, shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR.
- Participate in call rotation, including one night a week and every 4th weekend.
