Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab. This position requires a valid AK RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. The role involves working a 4x10 Days shift schedule and requires 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The nurse will be on-call one day per week and every 4th/5th weekend, and will work approximately one Saturday per month as part of the scheduled 4 shifts per week. Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs, potentially to EP or IR. Block schedules are not accommodated. Locals are not accepted, and the candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility. Pending licenses are accepted, but the license must be in hand for an auto-offer. Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer, with only one time off request allowed per 13-week assignment. Guaranteed hours are 70 per 2 weeks, with the possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks.
Requirements
- AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 2 years of experience
- On-call requirement: 1 day per week and 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 1800-Monday at 0730)
- Weekend requirement: on call, and approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the scheduled 4 shifts/week
- Must float within scope to meet facility needs (EP or IR)
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
- Pending License Accepted, but must have license in hand for Auto Offer
