About The Position

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The RN will provide specialized nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, assisting physicians and monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures. The position requires strong STEMI experience and proficiency with advanced cardiac support devices and emergency interventions. Evening and weekend on-call coverage is required.

Requirements

• 18 months of Cath Lab RN experience required; 2 years preferred.
• STEMI experience required.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification from the AHA or American Red Cross required.
• ACLS certification from the AHA or American Red Cross required.
• Proficiency with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, atherectomy devices, cardiac medication drips, and emergency medications required.
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, sheath removal, and vascular closure devices required.
• Willingness to float within scope and participate in evening and weekend call required.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of Cath Lab RN experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.
