Registered Nurse/Cath Lab
About The Position
OSU is seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab RN to join the team. This position offers normal business hours with call required. The schedule offers the option of either 4x9 hr shifts for a total of 36hrs/wk or 5x8hr shifts for a total of 40 hrs/wk. The start time is either 7am or 7:45am, Monday - Friday with Call. The call requirement is one night a week and every 4th weekend. The lab is a Level 2 lab that performs diagnostic and PCI procedures. The EP Lab performs device changeouts, upgrades, ICD, and Pacers. Vascular Angiogram and simple IR procedures are also performed.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab.
- ACLS certification (Required).
- BLS certification (Required).
- State License (Required).
- Experience with EPIC is Required.
Nice To Haves
- CCI RCIS certification (Preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and PCI procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Perform device changeouts, upgrades, ICD, and Pacers in the EP Lab.
- Perform Vascular Angiogram.
- Perform simple IR procedures.
- Manage patients with diagnoses including AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, EP devices, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD.
- Operate special equipment such as Impella, IABP, temp pacer, shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR.
- Respond to call duties one night a week and every 4th weekend.
