About The Position

Via Christi is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for their Cardiovascular unit, working night shifts. This role is at Via Christi, St. Francis in Wichita, KS. The position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500. Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and adapt personalized care plans.
• Act as the primary advocate for patients by communicating critical condition changes in real-time.
• Serve as the central hub of the clinical team, harmonizing efforts across multiple disciplines to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated healthcare journey.
• Translate physician and nursing orders into high-quality clinical actions, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate thoughtful, comprehensive discharge plans.
