About The Position
We are hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular specialty at Via Christi, St. Francis in Wichita, KS. This is a part-time night shift position. Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and adapt personalized care plans.
- Act as the primary advocate for patients by communicating critical condition changes in real-time.
- Serve as the central hub of the clinical team, harmonizing efforts across multiple disciplines.
- Translate physician and nursing orders into high-quality clinical actions, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate comprehensive discharge plans.
