About The Position

Requirements
- BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
- Have experience caring for high acuity patients required.
- At least two years of stepdown experience required.
- BLS & ACLS certifications required.
- Cardiac dysrhythmia proficiency required.
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
Nice To Haves
- Previous critical care experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert care for high-acuity cardiac patients, including those requiring advanced therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, medical residents, cardiac surgeons, and physician assistants.
- Participate in daily patient-focused rounds to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Manage complex interventions such as: Titration of multiple vasoactive medications, Invasive hemodynamic monitoring, Ventilator management and rapid weaning, Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs), Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) patients.
