This role involves providing integrated behavioral and physical healthcare within the Crisis Care Center, managing medication, assessing and coordinating physical/medical care, and offering direct services. The position is responsible for the orderly administration and maintenance of medication within Crisis Services and the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). Duties include a variety of supportive services and direct interventions with consumers experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, substance use disorders, and Developmental Disabilities who are in crisis and need stabilization. The role may also involve rendering general nursing care, providing medical support, performing admissions screening, serving as an agency liaison, crisis intervention, case management, patient education, and supporting all programs within the Crisis Care Center. The Registered Nurse is responsible for carrying out all activities in a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies, and procedures.
