About The Position

Requirements

• Current Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the resident care team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in assisted living or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately according to physician orders, state regulations, and community procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Observe residents for medication reactions or changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and resident care documentation.
• Follow proper medication storage, handling, and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable and cared for.
