About The Position

Nutritious Lifestyles is hiring a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or RD2Be to provide nutritional care to adult and adolescent patients in an acute behavioral health facility in Auburn, Michigan. The role includes conducting nutrition assessments, developing individualized nutrition care plans, providing medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education, and coordinating care with facility and dietary team members. No prior experience is needed for graduating dietetic interns or RD2Be candidates. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, training and mentorship, and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), or graduating dietetic intern/RD2Be.
• Flexible team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help improve clinical and dietary processes.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience is not required for graduating dietetic interns/RD2Be candidates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans for adult and adolescent patients.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education for patients with conditions including diabetes, heart disease, malnutrition, eating disorders, and food-related anxiety.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), account managers, and supervisors to coordinate patient care and dietary recommendations.
• Identify nutrition-related deficiencies and collaborate with the dietary team to develop action plans for improvement.
• Build positive relationships with patients and facility staff while supporting excellent customer service.
• Help improve clinical and dietary processes.
