About The Position
Nutritious Lifestyles is hiring a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or RD2Be to provide nutritional care to adult and adolescent patients in an acute behavioral health facility in Auburn, Michigan. The role is open to graduating dietetic interns and candidates with or without prior experience, as well as entry-level and experienced professionals seeking career growth. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, training and mentorship, and opportunities to advance.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), or graduating dietetic intern/RD2Be.
- Flexible team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help improve clinical and dietary processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans for adult and adolescent patients.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education for patients with conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, malnutrition, eating disorders, and food-related anxiety.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), account managers, and supervisors to coordinate patient care and dietary recommendations.
- Identify nutrition-related deficiencies and collaborate with the dietary team to develop action plans for improvement.
- Build positive relationships with patients and facility staff while supporting excellent customer service.
