About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. The role involves supporting residents’ and patients’ health and well-being through individualized nutrition care, education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday, with flexible schedules; full-time opportunities may be available by asking a recruiter. Coverage across multiple buildings may be provided based on company needs and the employee’s preference.

Requirements

• Be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Hold a certification or license in good standing within the state of practice.
• Have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customer requirements.
• For multi-site Registered Dietitians, have a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations.
• RD-Eligible status and provisional state licensure are accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ and patients’ clinical nutrition needs and develop and document plans in the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents’ and patients’ overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs and, as desired.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
