About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking Registered Dietitians for skilled care communities. This part-time role involves onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours, with approximately 4 hours per week per community, and opportunities for more hours if willing to travel. Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials.
Licensed (if required by State).
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required).
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required).
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others.

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience is preferred.
Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Ensure meals meet high nutritional standards for seniors.
Monitor the nutritional needs of residents in collaboration with the clinical team.
Provide nutrition education.
Work on MDS with the team.
Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
Assist with policy development.
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
