About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s for skilled care community. Candidate must be able to complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Averaging 16 hours per week. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs. Requirements

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
  • Licensed (if required by State)
  • CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
  • State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred, but we will consider many factors.
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
  • Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of the residents.
  • Provide nutrition education.
  • Work on an MDS with the team.
  • Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
  • Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
  • Assist with policy development.
  • Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
