About The Position

DiningRD is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian for skilled care communities. This role involves completing onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours, averaging 19 hours per month. Requirements

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
  • Licensed (if required by State)
  • CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
  • State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Enjoy coaching and mentoring others.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
  • clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Completing onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
  • Improving the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
  • Working closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of residents.
  • Providing nutrition education.
  • Working on an MDS with the team.
  • Formulating nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
  • Providing guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Training and providing guidance to dining managers and staff.
  • Assisting with policy development.
  • Monitoring the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
