About The Position

ProGrin Dental is seeking an energetic, compassionate Dental Hygienist who enjoys working in a team environment and wants to develop their skills and career. The role focuses on quality, preventive patient care, clinical autonomy, and creating a positive patient experience. New patient appointments are 80 minutes and prophylaxis appointments are 60 minutes. Compensation starts at $45 per hour, with the opportunity to earn $65 or more per hour through a hygiene bonus structure based on production and patient care. The position offers mentorship, ongoing training, professional development, and opportunities to grow into advanced responsibilities and leadership.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of clinical hygiene experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented approach.
• Enjoys working with people and has a heart for service.
• Values personal growth and team collaboration.
• Comfortable communicating closely with patients and working in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing.
• Conduct comprehensive periodontal and oral health assessments and chart findings.
• Take and process radiographs as required.
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care.
• Assist the dentist in identifying and documenting potential areas of concern.
• Provide patients with a positive care experience.
• Stay organized and on time, and support the team.
• Contribute to a positive office culture and grow into advanced responsibilities or leadership.
