About The Position

Family Dental Health of Harrison Road is seeking an outgoing, team-oriented Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive, compassionate dental care. The role includes direct patient care and hygiene treatments, patient education, digital imaging, and customer service, including offering same-day care. The hygienist will also take part in community events to educate others and promote the practice. The position is located at 3261 Harrison Rd, Columbia, SC 29204, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the state of South Carolina.
• Proficiency in performing all hygiene treatments, patient education, and taking digital X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Deliver direct patient care, including scaling and prophylaxis.
• Take digital X-rays.
• Take intraoral photos of every patient.
• Apply sealants and fluoride.
• Educate patients.
• Assess patients’ dental conditions and needs, and review their medical histories.
• Provide excellent customer service by offering same-day care.
• Participate in community events and functions to educate others and promote a positive image of Family Dental Health.
