About The Position
Family Dental Health of Harrison Road is seeking an outgoing, team-oriented Dental Hygienist. Family Dental Health is a privately owned dental group offering general and specialty services and providing comprehensive dental care. The organization emphasizes compassionate patient care, lasting relationships, community health, and a workplace that supports employee growth and success. The hygienist provides direct patient care and education, supports patients’ dental health needs, and contributes to customer service and community outreach. The position is located at 3261 Harrison Rd, Columbia, SC 29204. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state of South Carolina.
- Proficiency in performing all hygiene treatments, patient education, and taking digital x-rays.

Responsibilities
- Provide quality and compassionate care to every patient.
- Deliver direct patient care, including scaling and prophylaxis.
- Take digital x-rays.
- Take intraoral photos of every patient.
- Apply sealants and fluoride.
- Educate patients.
- Assess patients’ dental conditions and needs and review their medical histories.
- Provide excellent customer service by offering same-day care.
- Participate in community events and functions to educate others and promote a positive image of Family Dental Health.
