About The Position

The hygienist provides preventive and periodontal care, performs and documents oral health assessments, takes radiographs as required, and educates patients about oral hygiene. Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of clinical hygiene experience.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate closely with patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing.
• Conduct comprehensive periodontal and oral health assessments and chart findings.
• Take and process radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care.
• Assist the dentist in identifying and documenting potential areas of concern.
• Deliver a positive patient experience and support patients in feeling cared for and confident.
• Stay organized and on time, support the team, and contribute to the office culture.
