Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of clinical hygiene experience.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort working closely with patients in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing.
• Conduct comprehensive periodontal and oral health assessments and chart findings.
• Take and process radiographs as required.
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices, preventive care, and related health needs.
• Assist the dentist in identifying and documenting potential areas of concern.
• Help deliver a positive patient experience and support the dental team.
