About The Position
Citrus Heights Dental, part of the Mosaic Dental Collective, is seeking a warm, detail-oriented, patient-first Registered Dental Hygienist to join its Citrus Heights, California team. The role offers clinical autonomy, continuing education, and support for professional growth in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The hygienist provides preventive and periodontal care, educates patients about oral health, takes and interprets X-rays, and works with doctors and dental assistants to support coordinated care. The position is full-time, scheduled four days per week, with pay of $60–$64 per hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in California.
- Strong clinical skills and a gentle, thorough technique.
- Enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel at ease.
- Collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar software.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing.
- Educate patients about oral health and prevention in a personal and helpful manner.
- Take and interpret X-rays and assist with diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with doctors and dental assistants to provide seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and help ensure a safe, comfortable care environment.
