About The Position

Dental365 is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant for The Art of Dentistry in Somerset, New Jersey. The role supports dentists in providing compassionate patient care in a modern practice environment with dental technology and a focus on patient comfort. The team emphasizes health over sales and offers a supportive culture without production quotas. The schedule is Monday 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Thursday 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and every other Saturday 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.; Tuesday is off. The salary range is $30–$36 per hour and may vary based on experience and licensure. Benefits described are available at full-time employment of 30 or more hours per week, with some also available to part-time employees.

Requirements

Registered Dental Assisting license and experience.
Any certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
A resume showing a consistent and stable employment history.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits.
Support the dentist with various procedures.
Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
Take impressions and fabricate serviceable temporary restorations.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control requirements.
Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.
Follow OSHA and safety policies.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
Undertake diverse office tasks to support seamless practice operations.
