About The Position

Chalmers Dental is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for its well-established private family dental practice in Sacramento. The practice describes its team as tight-knit and supportive and emphasizes creating a positive experience for patients and staff. The Dental Assistant prepares treatment rooms, supports patients and the doctor during procedures, performs specified dental-assisting tasks, maintains accurate records, and helps keep the practice clean, organized, and OSHA compliant. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Be a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
• Hold X-ray certification.
• Hold Coronal Polishing certification.
• Hold CPR certification.
• Be available to work Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Be reliable, detail-oriented, and easy to work with.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patients.
• Help patients feel welcome and comfortable.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
• Make temporary restorations.
• Answer patient questions and help them feel informed.
• Clean and polish removable appliances.
• Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures.
• Keep accurate and thorough chart notes.
• Take clear intraoral photos.
• Keep the practice clean, organized, and OSHA compliant.
• Bring a positive, team-first attitude.
