About The Position

Galliant is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for its Tyler clinic. The role provides 1-on-1, assent-based therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them develop functional communication, daily living skills, and social connections. Care is neurodiversity-affirming and centers each child's safety, happiness, and comfort. The position is center-based and offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM. Occasional team meetings may extend to 5:00 PM. Active RBTs are eligible for $16.00–$21.00 per hour based on relevant experience; uncertified entry-level hires are eligible for $15.00–$16.00 per hour. For uncertified hires, Galliant pays for the 40-hour RBT course and national BACB exam fees, with certification targeted within the first eight weeks. The organization provides pay and performance reviews every six months and structured career advancement.

Requirements

Either hold an active RBT credential in good standing with the BACB or have a high school diploma or GED and a strong willingness to learn.
Have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for the daily commute to the Tyler clinic.
Be able to sit on the floor, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and transition quickly to engage children safely.
Demonstrate empathy, reliability, and dedication to positive client outcomes.

Nice To Haves

Background in caregiving, special education support, early childhood teaching, or customer service.

Responsibilities

Implement tailored behavioral support plans in direct, one-on-one sessions with children.
Support children in developing functional communication, daily living skills, and meaningful social connections.
Deliver compassionate, assent-based therapy that prioritizes each child's safety, happiness, and comfort.
Use a clinic-provided tablet to record session data and draft objective daily progress notes in real time.
