BT / RBT — Forest Hills, Queens | Part-Time, In-Home ABA
About The Position
Hiring an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a 1:1, in-home ABA case with a 14-year-old nonverbal boy with autism in Forest Hills, Queens. The client is physically strong and active, so the technician must be able to safely support him during sessions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, for 15 consistent hours per week. The case is open now and the requested start is immediate. Pay is $22.50 per hour. The role involves working with one client and one family, with close BCBA supervision and support. There is no driving between sessions.
Requirements
- Active RBT certification.
- Prior hands-on RBT experience.
- Experience with autism, especially with nonverbal clients.
- Physical capability to safely support an active, strong teen.
- Patience, dependability, energy, and compassion.
- Strong communication skills with the family and supervising BCBA.
Nice To Haves
- Crisis-prevention training such as SCM, CPI, or Safety-Care.
