About The Position

LBAPS is hiring an experienced Behavior Technician to provide one-to-one in-home ABA therapy to a 7-year-old girl in Staten Island, New York. The role is a consistent assignment with one family and no driving between clients. The program focuses on skill acquisition, including communication, social skills, and daily living goals, rather than behavior reduction. The technician will work independently within the direction of a supervising BCBA and coordinate with the BCBA on treatment goals.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, for 23 consistent hours per week. Compensation is $22.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on ABA experience.
• Strong background working with children with special needs.
• Confidence implementing a treatment plan independently within a BCBA's direction.
• Comfort with consistent data collection.
• Patience, reliability, compassion, and professionalism.
• High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

• RBT certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
