About The Position

Our Child Therapy, a small organization in North Carolina, is seeking a passionate and experienced Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and families. The role involves implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and collecting data. The organization describes its culture as supportive, fun, and growth-oriented, with on-the-job training and a friendly team of leaders. The position is part-time and in-person/in-home in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The schedule is Monday through Friday and every other Sunday, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Compensation is $24.00–$28.00 per hour, with a $250 new-hire bonus on the first paycheck.

Requirements

Experience with children and strong people skills.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with children.
Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director.
Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports.
Implement behavior-based treatment plans.
Educate parents on classroom support techniques.
Ensure safety and quality care for clients.
Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources.
Maintain training materials and supplies.
Advocate for children and families and facilitate referrals to community resources.
