About The Position

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide one-to-one, specialized Applied Behavior Analysis services to children on the autism spectrum in a home-based setting. Behavior Technicians work in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized treatment plans, monitor client progress, and support families. The organization provides paid training and support. The posting describes flexible part-time, afternoon, and evening hours, with the potential for guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Current RBT certification.
• Current certification with the Nevada ABA board, or willingness to obtain certification if certified in another state.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with children and parents.
• Ability to manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of individualized treatment plans and report progress.
• Support the BCBA with training families to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Respond to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Keep pace with clients during sessions, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25 or more pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
• Perform other tasks outlined by a BCBA or LBA.
