Registered Behavior Technician - Part Time
About The Position
Westside is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality, play-based Applied Behavior Analysis therapy at its Plainfield Downtown Clinic in Plainfield, Illinois. The RBT works closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and families to support children and make therapy engaging and enjoyable. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; the schedule may change based on clinic needs. The position offers an hourly rate of $21.00 to $25.50, based on skills and experience. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active RBT certification is required within 60 days of hire.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Competence with a variety of computer applications.
- A comfortable persona for developing relationships with children and their families.
- Passion for working with children with special needs and commitment to building relationships and making sessions engaging.
- Collaborative approach and willingness to work with a team.
- Flexibility in adapting to each child's unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement direct ABA therapy services for assigned clients.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions with a BCBA, asking questions and receiving feedback.
- Collect and record client behavioral data.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Build relationships with children and their families and adapt to each child's unique needs.
- Partner with families and BCBAs to support each child's progress.
