Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work with children with autism and help them develop their full potential. In this center-based role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Candidates should be passionate about helping children with autism, patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. Comprehensive training is provided, and prior experience is not required. Children may be unpredictable and potentially confrontational, so this role requires comfort with active work and a range of physical movements, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and sometimes carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.
