About The Position

LBAPS is hiring an experienced, warm, hands-on Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-to-one ABA therapy to a 9-year-old boy in his home in Queens, NY. The role involves one consistent client case, with no driving between clients, and is scheduled for 28 consistent hours per week.

Bengali and English proficiency are both required and are not negotiable. Bengali is used during sessions and to communicate with the family; English is used for BCBA supervision, treatment-plan documentation, and session notes. The technician will implement the individualized behavior intervention plan, support the child's communication, social, and daily living skills, collect session data, and collaborate with the supervising BCBA.

Requirements

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Hands-on experience running a full program.
• Experience working with children.
• Fluency or working comfort in both Bengali and English; both are required.
• Patience, energy, and the ability to maintain a child's attention through a long session.
• Comfort with data collection and working under BCBA supervision.

Responsibilities
