About The Position
Thrive Autism Services is a specialty agency for children with autism spectrum disorder, offering both in-clinic and in-home services. We support clients with behavioral, cognitive, and developmental needs from 18 months into adulthood, providing caring ABA therapy centered around the client’s voice and experience. Our mission is to create a healthy and safe environment for all individuals living with Autism to learn, grow and THRIVE. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide services to children with a range of cognitive, behavioral, and developmental disorders/diagnoses. You will work directly with board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) to deliver and implement behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming. Your responsibilities will include collecting data, managing problem behaviors, and receiving training in all areas of direct service delivery. You will primarily serve an instructional role, teaching skills in social interaction, adaptive behavior, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self-care. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children on the autism spectrum.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 6-12 months working in ABA therapy.
- Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- RBT certification.
- Experience in early intervention, a preschool setting, or other areas of behavioral health.
- Passionate about the Behavior Science field and making meaningful impacts on their clients' lives.
- Professional when offering care inside of our client’s homes.
- Flexible and willing to adapt.
- Responsible and timely.
