About The Position

The Back of House Clerk oversees stockroom and warehouse operations, ensuring organized and efficient inventory management while supporting the front-of-house retail team. The role includes supervising and motivating the BOH team, managing stock levels and order fulfillment, maintaining store standards, and helping support store performance and customer satisfaction. The work takes place in a loud, fast-paced, energetic retail environment where busy rushes, wait times, and long lines are common.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in the cannabis industry.
At least 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Facility Agent Card.

Responsibilities

Supervise and motivate the BOH team, including stock associates and other support staff; provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Oversee receipt, storage, and organization of inventory; ensure accurate stock counts, manage replenishment, and coordinate inventory audits.
Manage processing of online and in-store orders, ensuring timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
Maintain clean and organized stockroom and storage areas; implement efficient stock retrieval processes and manage stock rotation to reduce obsolescence.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to support timely deliveries and resolve shipment discrepancies or issues.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, proper merchandise handling, and safety protocols.
Address operational issues, including stock discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and staffing concerns.
Work with the front-of-house team to support sales efforts, manage product displays, and address customer or operational needs affecting store performance.
Improve inventory stock on the sales floor and improve inventory receiving processes and timelines.
Improve aging inventory stock and ensure inventory levels are appropriate for the location.
