About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a single client case in Springfield, Virginia. The schedule is fixed for Thursday and Friday afternoons, approximately 6 hours per week, with exact session times from 4-7pm. This role requires conversational Spanish. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and provides a thorough handoff. Current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA is committed to providing therapy to families on Medicaid across Virginia and ensures dedicated care managers and schedules that accommodate the client's needs, family's availability, and the RBT's schedule, rather than adhering to corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Thursday and Friday afternoons, approximately 6 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stay active and engaged in session.
• Conversational Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan created by the BCBA.
• Participate in real supervision, including QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Collect session data and submit notes for completed work.
• Attend training and required meetings.
