About The Position

Thrive Autism Services is a specialty agency for children with autism spectrum disorder, offering both in-clinic and in-home services. They service clients with behavior, cognitive, and developmental needs from 18 months into adulthood, providing caring ABA therapy centered around the client’s voice and experience. Their mission is to create a healthy and safe environment for all individuals living with Autism to learn, grow and THRIVE. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide services to children with a range of cognitive, behavioral, and developmental disorders/diagnoses. You will work directly with board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) to deliver and implement behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming. In addition, you will also collect data, manage problem behaviors, and receive training in all areas of direct service delivery. You will primarily serve an instructional role teaching in the areas of social, adaptive, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self-care skills. The preferred candidate will be passionate about working with children on the autism spectrum.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation required.
  • Ability to travel 30 miles between clients and from your home.
  • Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • RBT certification.
  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • 6-12 months working in ABA therapy.
  • Passionate about working with children on the autism spectrum.
  • Passionate about the Behavior Science field and making meaningful impacts on their clients' lives.
  • Professional when offering care inside of our client’s homes.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt.
  • Responsible and timely.
