About The Position

Thrive Autism Services is a specialty agency for children with autism spectrum disorder, offering both in-clinic and in-home services. They cater to clients with behavior, cognitive, and developmental needs, ranging from 18 months to adulthood. The agency provides ABA therapy focused on the client's voice and experience, with a mission to create a healthy and safe environment for individuals with Autism to learn, grow, and thrive. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will provide services to children with a range of cognitive, behavioral, and developmental disorders/diagnoses. This role involves direct collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming. Responsibilities include data collection, managing problem behaviors, and receiving training in direct service delivery. The RBT will primarily focus on teaching social, adaptive, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self-care skills. A passion for working with children on the autism spectrum is preferred.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation required.
  • Ability to travel 30 miles between clients and from your home.
  • Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card.
  • Must be available between 8:00am - 5:30pm.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred).
  • RBT certification (preferred).
  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • 6-12 months working in ABA therapy (preferred, not required).
  • Passionate about the Behavior Science field and making meaningful impacts on their clients' lives.
  • Professional when offering care inside of our client’s homes.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt.
  • Responsible and timely.
  • Experience in early intervention, a preschool setting, or other areas of behavioral health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services to children with a range of cognitive, behavioral, developmental disorders/diagnoses.
  • Work directly with board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) to deliver and implement behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming.
  • Collect data.
  • Manage problem behaviors.
  • Receive training in all areas of direct service delivery.
  • Serve an instructional role teaching in the areas of social, adaptive, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self-care skills.
