About The Position

Step Ahead ABA has an in-home case open in Ewa Beach and is looking for the right Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for it. This position is ideal for individuals who are available Monday-Friday afternoons/evenings and are seeking a role where a BCBA is already assigned and covers the region. The company prioritizes internal RBTs for new cases to ensure continuity for clients and consistent hours for technicians. This role is particularly suitable for those accruing supervision hours toward their BCBA. The company's mission is to provide therapy to autistic children and their families, regardless of income, supporting families on Medicaid across Hawaii. Requirements

  • Active RBT registration with the BACB, current on your start date.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior ABA experience.
  • Availability Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings.
  • Comfort working in a family's home.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
  • Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
  • Work collaboratively with the assigned BCBA and the family's care manager.
  • Provide supportive supervision, including competency assessments, observation, and feedback.
