About The Position
Hawai‘i Behavioral Health (HBH) has immediate openings for Certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and RBT Trainees (not yet certified) across Oahu, Maui, and Hawai‘i Island. This is a flexible position with multiple scheduling options. Most RBTs begin with part-time hours based on client needs and staff availability, with opportunities for growth based on performance, client availability, and scheduling needs.
Requirements
- Active RBT Certification preferred (Candidates not yet certified may apply for the sponsored trainee program)
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/BLS Certification required
- Current First Aid Certification required
- Reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to travel between service locations preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide support addressing communication, behavior, feeding, and social skill development
- Monitor client progress and collaborate with BCBAs regarding treatment updates
- Maintain accurate session documentation and communication with the clinical team
- We provide services in-home, in-community, and/or clinic settings
